In short, when talking to a USB device, data needs to be sent to or received from specific endpoints. A device can have multiple endpoints of different types and directions. Each endpoint is identified by an address, which can be found in the USB descriptors. The NXT uses two "bulk" endpoints, one in each direction, and their addresses are 0x01 and 0x82.
